  Gerlinda, our delightful host set the tone for a five nights at Eden Oceanview. She made sure that we were welcome and settled in, giving us some local information, complementing information available inside the home.
  Eden Oceanview sits on top of the headland that divides Twofold Bay. The home has its own magnificent views. During the season you can watch whales from the back garden or the rear terrace, looking directly out to the ocean or downwards to the northern main beach. We saw whales on all but one day with the whale siren going off frequently when whales are spotted by museum staff at the Eden Killer Whale Museum. This is an inexpensive must visit museum with a unique story to tell. From 'our' home it was a short walk down to the wharf at Eden with the friendly people at the local fish and chip shop looking after us more than once. It's a quick drive into town to the IGA or Coles to stock up for food and drinks or enjoy a very good coffee and delicious food at the Sprout Café. Eden is also a great base for trips further north. Its a short drive to Pambula and Merimbula to play golf course at a beautiful course of the same name with many, many kangaroos that are happy with golfers. A longer trip one day to Bega and the cheese factory and inland to Cobargo gave us opportunities to buy some interesting gifts as did Central Tilba before we turned around at Narooma for the trip home.
  Another trip to the Seahorse Inn at Boydtown and a walk out to the historical Boyd tower is an easy drive and a very short walk; also another great vantage point for whale watching.

  Stunning location with views all around. This spacious and comfortable 60s house is great for a short or long stay. Close to beaches, Snug cove, town centre and excellent restaurants.
